Since starting up Grangewood Education in September 2024, I currently tutor a number of primary school and Key Stage 3 pupils in Northampton, Milton Keynes and online. I also tutor adults.
During my most recent time in schools, I served as Headmistress of a private school and nursery, educating young people from 2 - 11 years, entering the children for 11+ exams in Bucks, and entrance exams to private sector secondary schools.
Prior to this, I was a highly professional primary and middle school teacher in Northants. I have accrued 30 years of teaching and leadership experience.
I approach teaching with an open mind and heart, using my curriculum expertise, sense of humour, and positive empathy to great effect.
Qualified to teach all primary curriculum subjects from Year 1 to Year 6 SATS and 11+, my personal specialisms are in English & maths, Dyslexia support, adult education and Personal Development

Introducing Jeremy:
Originally from Arizona, I have experience teaching in the USA and in the UK for the last 27 years. Alongside my wife, I served as Deputy Head and Headmaster of a private school and nursery, and prior to this I was sports teacher, English teacher and Deputy Head of Sixth form in a Northampton secondary school.
I am told by parents and pupils I have a knack of getting the best out of young people, with my clear and concise approach to learning and my lively personality!
Qualified to teach all secondary and primary curriculum subjects from Year 5 to Year 11, my personal specialisms are in all areas of GCSE English & maths, 11+ skills, and sports coaching.
