Since starting up Grangewood Education in September 2024, I am currently tutoring a number of primary school and key stage 3 pupils in Northampton, Milton Keynes and online.
Recently, I have served as Headmistress of a private school and nursery, educating young people from 2 - 11 years, entering the children for 11+ exams in Bucks, and entrance exams to private sector secondary schools.
Prior to this I was a highly professional primary and middle school teacher with 29 years of teaching and leadership experience.

I approach teaching with an open mind and heart, using my curriculum expertise, sense of humour, and positive empathy to great effect. ​
​
Qualified to teach all primary curriculum subjects from Year 1 to Year 6 SATS and 11+, my personal specialisms are in English & maths, personal, social and health education, music and drama.

Introducing Jeremy:
​
Originally from Arizona, I have experience teaching in the USA and in the UK for the last 27 years. Alongside my wife, I served as Deputy Head and Headmaster of a private school and nursery, and prior to this I was sports teacher, English teacher and Deputy Head of Sixth form in a Northampton secondary school.
​
I am told by parents and pupils I have a knack of getting the best out of young people, with my clear and concise approach to learning and my lively personality!
​
