We believe that learning matters, and that everybody has the right to learn and thrive in the best way possible.

Our tuition is delivered at the pace and level required at all levels; sessions will be personal to you, and expertly created to meet individual needs and learning styles.

Our aim is to share our passion and enthusiasm for education, either with high flyers who will benefit from further extension, pupils needing an extra boost in any areas of the curriculum, or for those who need more support including individuals with SEN, school anxiety or neurodivergences.

We offer after school slots, evenings and weekend mornings. We are also available during weekdays.

Having very recently left school settings as a headteacher to start Grangewood Education, I have a firm grasp on both public and private sector education in the UK.

I have been a teacher for over 25 years, and am fully qualified, DBS checked and insured.

I am a highly skilled and experienced professional and know how to get results.

Aiming for Success

We fully support the need to achieve results, but we know that success only comes when an individual feels confident in their understanding and skills. This can be hard to achieve in a busy classroom, which is where we come in - to help to focus on building understanding and confidence to succeed.

Years of experience and guiding pupils through the 11+ with huge success enables us to help your child develop the confidence and the skills required for the Non-VR, VR, English and maths elements of the 11+ and secondary school entrance exams.

Rachel Smith
BA (Hons) PGCE

I am a highly experienced primary and middle school teacher with 29 years of experience. For the past I have served as Deputy Head and Headmistress of a private school and nursery, entering the children for 11+ exams in Bucks.

Qualified to teach all primary subjects from Year 1 to Year 6, my personal specialisms are in all areas of English, maths, 11+ skills, PSHE, music, and drama.

I approach teaching with an open mind and heart, using my curriculum expertise, sense of humour and empathy towards individuals to great effect.
